" The mission of the Infection Control Committee at Rashid Hospital is to ensure that there is a managed environment at the hospital which minimizes the risk of infection to patients, health care workers & visitors by putting infection control & basic hygiene at the heart of good management & clinical practice.
The committee will ensure that:
1. Appropriate policies & procedures are in place for patients, staff & environment management.
2. Adequate resources are allocated to ensure effective protection of patient's health with particular regard to prevention of hospital acquired infections, communicable diseases & antibiotic resistance."
