Ask Live,
a service offered by the Libraries Section at DHA!
Please enter the
information requested on the right hand side of your browser window. The
Email Address field is a must field. At the end of the session, a complete
transcript, including all chat and links to Web sites visited will be
emailed to you.
*Ask
live is one of the Libraries Section Virtual Reference Desk
Services. It is a live Internet-based question-and-answer service that
connect users with librarians who can answer questions, requests and support
users research skills.
Ask Live is open to all DHA staff (Doctors, nurses,
technicians, bio-medicals, administrative as well as medical and nurse
students). Using this service, DHA librarian will be able to communicate
with you using Internet chat live and may take you to various websites. A
normal session expected to last no longer than 15 minutes.
Ask Live service would like to remind you that we do not
control the content of resources used. Ask Live will make all the effort to
provide you with accurate information resources. We are not responsible for
any losses or damages related to the use of the service. It is proscribed to
send any questions or contents that is illegal.
Session Guidelines:
Please do not try to bookmark (add to favorites) or print anything during
the session! At the end of the session, you will receive a list of live
links, which will allow you to go back and visit all of the pages the
librarian showed you. You can bookmark anything you want at that time. If
you try to bookmark during the session, you may experience a disconnect.
There are forward, back and refresh buttons within the software's shared
webpage frame that you can use.
If you must open a second browser for any reason while connected, please use
the "start" menu or taskbar shortcut, not control "n" or File "new". If you
do so, you will crash.
