AGELINE web only Contains over 60,000 citations, with abstracts, to literature on social gerontology, with a focus on the social, psychological, and economic aspects of middle age and aging.

CancerLit by National Cancer Institute, citations and abstracts from biomedical journals, proceedings, books, reports, and doctoral theses.

CHID Online: The Combined Health Information Database  is a bibliographic database produced by health-related agencies of the Federal Government.

CenterWatch Clinical Trials Listing Service An international listing of thousands of clinical trials actively recruiting patients.

ClinicalTrials.gov The U.S. National Institutes of Health, through its National Library of Medicine, has developed ClinicalTrials.gov to provide patients, family members and members of the public current information about clinical research studies.

Comprehensive Epidemiologic Data Resource (CEDR)

GDB  is the official central repository for genomic mapping data resulting from the Human Genome Initiative. It was established at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, USA in 1990.

Hazardous Substances Data Bank (HSDB) HSDB is a toxicology data file on the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) Toxicology Data Network (TOXNET) focusing on the toxicology of potentially hazardous chemicals.

HazDat is the scientific and administrative database developed to provide access to information on the release of hazardous substances from Superfund sites or from emergency events and on the effects of hazardous substances on the health of human populations.

Health Services / Technology Assessment Text (HSTAT) a free, web-based resource that provides access to full-text documents useful for providing health information and for health care decision making. HSTAT's audience includes health care providers, health service researchers, policy makers, payers, consumers and the information professionals who serve these groups.

HerbMed by Alternative Medicine Foundation. It is an interactive, electronic herbal database – provides hyperlinked access to the scientific data underlying the use of herbs for health.  It is an evidence-based information resource  for professionals, researchers, and general public.

Hollis, (Harvard OnLine Library Information System) offers individual databases which include the holdings of the Harvard University libraries, a course reserves database, a guide to Harvard libraries, and an anthropology citation index.

IBIDS Database (International Bibliographic Information on Dietary Supplements)

IRIS (Integrated Risk Information System) Full-text information on human health risks for over 660 chemicals.

Lab Tests Online

MEDLINE/PubMed, National Library of Medicine, provides access to over 11 million citations in MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE, and other related databases, with links to participating online journals.

OMIM - Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man. This database is a catalog of human genes and genetic disorders authored and edited by Dr. Victor A. McKusick and his colleagues at Johns Hopkins and elsewhere.

REHABDATA Literature Database 1995-present, by the National Rehabilitation Information Center. A leading literature database on disability and rehabilitation.
