The Union Catalogue of Health Sciences Journals in EMR includes journals
holdings of local and international journals available in health sciences
libraries in the Region.
The most basic function of the Union Catalogue is
to locate the journal title available in each
library in the EMR.
The catalogue is a
prerequisite for provision of document delivery services in the Region (WHO
EMRO ILDD).
How to locate a journal
in a library in EMR?
1. [Click

to access the Union Catalogue.
2. Select UNLIST Database
3. Select Periodicals.
4. You may search by: ISSN, Title or
Subject.
5. Select your journal and click on
details to locate the journal country, library, volumes, issues and year.
How to request an
Article?
Before you start your request, the following
citations are essential:
J. Title/ Document title/ Author(s)/ Volume/ Issue/ Year/ Page
no. from-to.
You may search PubMed for the article
citation. For Example:
Ruby RR.
Conductive hearing loss in the elderly.
Journal of Otolaryngology. 1986;15(4):245-7.

to access the Union Catalogue.
2. Select UNLIST Database then Login.
3. Select ILDD Request.
4. Select Journal from the drop down
menu then submit.
5. Select the Library then click Request
6. Fill in the blanks. You may use copy/paste
to complete the fields.
7. Submit.
